Welcome to the Crown, Minchinhampton

Long, lazy lunches, something cold in hand, and a lively buzz from the bar. From sun-soaked afternoons to easy-going evenings, The Crown is your go-to in the heart of Minchinhampton for proper food, great drinks, and time well spent.

Food & Drink

We're all about dishes that pack a punch with a focus on fresh, British, seasonal ingredients. Our menus boast pub classics and specials with a twist. Wet your whistle at the bar with our vast range of ales, lagers, world wines, seasonal cocktails and no-and-low options.

Summer Spritz

Bright, refreshing spritzes made for those sunny, slow-paced afternoons. Tucked just behind the pub, our garden is one of Minchinhampton’s best-kept secrets - perfect for a spritz, a catch-up, and staying a little longer than planned (it happens).

Perfect Sundays

Succulent roasts, oodles of gravy, crispy-yet-fluffy roasties, and the finest of seasonal veg - we're hosting your perfect Sunday. Don't forget the double egg Yorkies and proper puds, too.

The best pub in Minchinhampton

Our beautiful pub dates back some 300 years to 1715, and for many years was used for public meetings and assemblies before becoming a beer house. This 18th-century building has been lovingly renovated, retaining all of its distinctive charm.

We serve up locally inspired flavours, alongside a great selection of craft ales, fine wines, and cocktails – making The Crown the perfect place to meet, eat, and make great memories in the heart of Minchinhampton.

Head Chef Steven and his team make the most of the seasons, with ever-changing dishes that celebrate the very best of what’s fresh, local, and full of flavour.

A warm welcome awaits at The Crown.

Our Little Hide Away

Just behind the pub, you’ll find our tucked-away garden – a bit of a local secret, and all the better for it.

It’s the perfect spot for a spritz in the sunshine, a relaxed catch-up, or a slow afternoon that turns into an evening without much notice (as they tend to).

Bright, refreshing, and made for moments like these, our spritz menu is best enjoyed out here – once you’ve found it, you’ll be back.

Traditional Sunday Roast

Soak up our relaxed-yet-buzzing atmosphere while you tuck into sumptuous meats and crispy-yet-fluffy roasties and oodles of gravy. There’s always more when the jug runs dry.
Not to mention the spiced-how-you-like Bloody Marys, rich glasses of reds, and fluffy double-egg Yorkies.
Save your seat and we’ll see you there.

Watch the World Cup 2026 in Minchinhampton

Join us at the Crown Inn as the world’s biggest football tournament takes centre stage this summer. We’ll be showing all England matches live, plus the crucial knock-out games as the drama unfolds.

Expect cold pints, great food and a pub full of fans living every moment together. If history happens, you’ll want to say you watched it here.
Walk-ins are welcome, but the best tables won’t hang around for long – booking ahead is strongly recommended.

Could this be our 1966?
